Scope |
These present general terms and conditions of sale apply to the
distant-selling operation of United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd and
cover all sales to its customers regarding orders taken over the
telephone, by fax, email or posted direct to our Sales Team. We
reserve the right to amend the present general terms and
conditions of sale at any time, with the proviso that details of
all amendments are published to our website. |

Prices |
1.1 Product prices are given in pounds sterling and are exclusive
of all taxes, postage and packing costs. |

1.2 For all consignments shipped
outside of the UK, invoices are automatically calculated exclusive
of taxes. Any customs duties, other local taxes, import duties or
state taxes that may apply are your sole responsibility and are
not payable by United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd. |

1.3 All orders are payable in pounds
sterling. |
| |

1.4 Special
Offers: special offers on our products are available for a
limited period only. Where more than one promotion is offered on
the same product at the same time, United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd
reserve the right to offer the customer the best deal available.
Only one promotion can be claimed at any one time. |

Your order will be despatched on
receipt of payment unless prior credit terms have been agreed. In
the case of payments received by cheque we will allow 5 working
days for the cheque to clear. |

Contract details are given in English
and those in force at the time of delivery. United Flags &
Flagstaffs Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order. |

Availability |
Products and prices are valid as advertised and are subject to
stock availability. Information is provided on product
availability when you place your order. These details are given
for information purposes only and are not binding. |

Should a product be unavailable after
you have placed your order, we will let you know as soon as
possible by email, telephone or post. In this instance you can ask
for your order to be cancelled or exchanged by telephoning us or

There is no partial dispatch of goods
for cheque payments. Your cheque will be cancelled and returned to
you. |

If only part of the order is
available, our Sales Team will contact you to check whether
partial delivery is acceptable. Only goods that are delivered will
be charged for. |

Goods should be returned, preferably
in their original packaging to United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd
direct. |
| |
|
Refunds will be made by cheque within
a period less than or equal to four weeks following receipt of the
returned package. All replacements will be made on a like for like
basis. |

Delivery |
Products are delivered to the delivery address given when the
order was placed. Delivery times allow for order processing,
packaging and transportation. |

|
If you are paying by cheque, your
order will be processed only when your cheque has cleared.
Delivery times are calculated from the date your cheque clears and
may therefore differ from times indicated when you placed your
order. |

For all orders we need to have your
telephone number and any information that will assist delivery.

Payment
|
You have a choice of payment methods, You can either: pay by
credit / debit / Visa Purchase Card, pay by cheque (issued by a
recognised UK bank) or pay via BACS transfer. |

Condition of ownership |
All goods remain the property of United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd
until receipt of payment in full, including added interest if
appropriate. This provision does not affect transfer to the
customer of all risks of loss or damage from the moment our goods
leave the premises. |

Exchanges and refunds |
Good supplied by United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd are new and
guaranteed against defects. You have 7 working days from the date
of receipt to return the product. It it does not meet your
expectations, you will be liable for the cost of return postage.
Cancellations can be made on the date of purchase and your credit
card can be refunded otherwise a refund will be made by cheque
upon receipt of the returned goods. |

After-sales service |

For a period of 90 days following the
date of purchase, United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd guarantees that
its goods are free from manufacturing defects. In the case of
defective goods United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd will freely
reimburse the purchase price, or will repair or replace the faulty
goods if it / they are returned within the 90-day period (a
receipt must be enclosed as proof of purchase). These are
the only options available for any failure of the guarantee.
United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd takes no responsibility for any
other guarantee, either implicit or explicit. |

Responsibility |
All products offered for sale are subject to the requirements of
English law. United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd cannot be held
responsible for any failure to meet the requirements of the
legislation of any other country where products are delivered.
United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd cannot be held responsible in the
event of force majeure, political upheaval, total or partial
strike action, affecting in particular postal services,
transportation and / or communications services, flood and fire.

any personal information that you provide. This information is
confidential and will only be used by internal departments at
United Flags & Flagstaffs Ltd for processing your order and / or
sending you details of special offers. |

necessary for processing your order or for keeping you informed
about special offers or new products. |
